Tour Plan

Day 1 : Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Erfoud – Merzouga :

We start our trip from Fes and travel toward Merzouga, passing through Midelt and Errachidia. First, we stop in Ifrane, a clean and beautiful town often called the “Switzerland of Morocco.” Then we continue through the Middle Atlas Mountains with nice views along the road.

Next, we visit the cedar forest, the biggest in Morocco, where you can see wild monkeys. As we keep going, the landscape changes slowly and you begin to see the desert near Errachidia. We stop for lunch in Midelt, then drive through the Ziz Valley, enjoying amazing views. After that, we pass small Berber villages, then go to Erfoud and Rissani, a historic town. In the evening, we arrive in Merzouga. There, you ride a camel into the desert to watch the sunset on the . At night, you stay in a desert camp, have dinner, and enjoy local music and activities.

Day 2 : Sahara Desert – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley :

Your camel guide will wake you up early in the morning to watch a beautiful sunrise in the desert. After that, you will ride the camels back slowly to your riad, enjoying the amazing Erg Chebbi dunes as the colors change with the morning light.

After breakfast and a hot shower, we leave for Tinghir and the Todra Gorges, the highest and narrowest gorges in Morocco. You will have time to walk and explore the valley.

Later, we continue through the Dades Valley, where you can see beautiful sand castles and unique rock shapes called “Monkey Toes.” At the end of the day, you will spend the night in a riad or guesthouse in the heart of the valley.

 
 
Day 3 : Dades Valley – Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah – Marrakech :

After breakfast, we continue driving through the Dades Valley toward Kalaat Mgouna and Ouarzazate. This road is known as the “Road of a Thousand Kasbahs,” with many great places to stop and take photos. We will stop in Kalaat Mgouna, also called the “Rose City,” where you can buy rosewater and local products. Then we continue to Ouarzazate, often known as the “Hollywood of Africa.”

Next, we visit the famous Ait Ben Haddou, the biggest kasbah in Morocco and a UNESCO World Heritage site. It is also a place where many movies were filmed, like Gladiator and Lawrence of Arabia. We will have lunch there. After that, we drive through the High Atlas Mountains, crossing the Tizi n’Tichka pass with beautiful views along the way. You can also stop to see how argan oil is made by local women. By the evening, we arrive in Marrakech, where the tour ends.
