This 3-Day Tour from Marrakech to Fes is really special. It’s a 3-day journey that lets you see the Morocco. You will go through the High Atlas Mountains. You will see Berber villages. You will visit valleys and old kasbahs that have interesting stories.

As you travel the landscape will change. You will enter the Sahara Desert. Here you can ride a camel through sand dunes. You will see a sunset. Then you will spend a night under the stars, in a Merzouga desert camp. This is an experience.

On the day you will travel through the Ziz Valley. It’s very green and pretty. You will also visit the town of Ifrane. It’s very charming. Then you will arrive in Fes. This journey is a mix of nature, culture and adventure. It’s three days but its very memorable.

Tour Plan

Day 1 : Marrakech - High atlas mountains - Boumaln dades

Your day starts at 8:00 a.m. With a meeting at your hotel. Your driver will be waiting for you at the hotel. Then you will get into a Van or a 4×4 vehicle. Leave Marrakech to go to the beautiful Dades Valley.

You will drive across the High Atlas Mountains using the Tizi n’Tichka pass. The Tizi n’Tichka pass is 2,260 meters high. You will see beautiful views on the way. As you go from Marrakech to Ouarzazate you will see different landscapes and colors. You will also see some Berber villages.

You will have time to look around the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. Then you can have a lunch and rest for a bit. After that you will keep going on your trip. The road will take you through the Skoura palm grove. The Skoura palm grove is very green and nice. You will also go through the Valley of Roses. Then you will get to the Dades Valley. The Dades Valley is very green and peaceful.

You will have dinner, in the Dades Valley. You will also stay overnight in the Dades Valley.

Day 2 : Dades Valley - Todra gorges - Merzouga Desert

After breakfast you will start your journey on the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs.” You will pass through the Berber villages in the Dades Valley. 45 Km later you will reach Tinghir. This town is known for its green palm grove and old Jewish area.

The journey will continue to the Todra Gorges. Here you will have time to walk through the tall canyons, which are up to 300 meters high. Many people like to rock climb in this area.

Then you will head to the Sahara. You will travel towards Merzouga. On the way you will have time for lunch. Before reaching Merzouga you will pass through Erfoud. People call Erfoud the gateway to the desert. After you will arrive at the beautiful Erg Chebbi dunes.

After a welcome with a glass of tea at a hotel near the dunes your desert adventure will start. You will ride camels through the sands. This will give you enough time to see a beautiful sunset, from the top of the dunes.

Day 3 : Merzouga Desert - Ifran- Fes

On the day of your desert trip from Marrakech to Fes you will start the morning with a camel ride back to Merzouga. Your driver will be waiting there to continue the adventure.

From Merzouga you will head north to Ifrane. People often call Ifrane “Little Switzerland” because of its buildings that look like they are in the Alps and its cool mountain weather. Ifrane is high up in the Atlas Mountains. It is one of the places in Morocco where it snows in winter.

On the way you can stop for lunch in Ifrane or in the Ziz Valley. The route has views and great spots for photos.

You will travel in a vehicle, with air conditioning. You will pass through the Ziz Valley. The valley has gorges, golden sand dunes and green oases. The Tafilalt region is known for its landscapes. You will see palm groves, cliffs and buildings with a reddish color. The views are really amazing.

In the afternoon you will arrive in Fes. This is where your trip ends. Your driver will take you to your hotel or riad. This will be the end of your adventure.
