4 Days Safari From Ouarzazate Itinerary

Day 1: Ouarzazate - Draa Valley - Alnif - Dakar Track - Overnight in Ouzina

Start your 4 Days Tour from Ouarzazate to Marrakech with a drive through the beautiful Draa Valley. Along the way, you’ll see palm groves, traditional Berber villages, and historic kasbahs. After lunch in Alnif, continue towards the peaceful Ouzina Desert, following part of the famous Dakar Rally route. Enjoy stunning views of golden sand dunes, rocky landscapes, and authentic desert life. In the evening, arrive at a cozy Berber lodge in Ouzina, where you’ll have dinner and spend the night.

Day 2: Ouzina - 4x4 excursion - Camel ride and night camp in Merzouga.

After a traditional Berber breakfast, we drive to Merzouga, passing Berber villages, rocky deserts, oases, and the famous Dakar Rally tracks. Once there, you’ll visit local nomad families, enjoy a cup of tea, and learn about their way of life.

Next, we head to Khamlia, known for its lively Gnawa music. Enjoy a local lunch, including the famous Berber pizza, and, if you wish, take an exciting quad or buggy ride across the dunes.

In the late afternoon, ride a camel into the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi and watch a beautiful desert sunset. At the luxury desert camp, relax with mint tea, enjoy a traditional dinner, and spend the evening around the campfire with Berber music under a sky full of stars before sleeping in your comfortable desert tent.

Day 3: Merzouga - Merzouga Desert - Todra Gorges - Dades.

Wake up early to watch a breathtaking sunrise over the Sahara dunes before riding your camel back to the lodge. After breakfast and a shower, we continue to Rissani, home to one of the oldest traditional markets in southern Morocco.

Next, we travel through the beautiful Tinghir Oasis to visit the spectacular Todra Gorges, where towering cliffs rise over 300 meters high. After exploring the area, we drive along the famous Road of a Thousand Kasbahs to the stunning Dades Valley, known for its unique rock formations and scenic landscapes. In the evening, enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at a charming hotel in Dades.

Day 4: Dades - Ait Ben Haddou - Marrakech

We begin our journey back to Marrakech through the beautiful Valley of Roses. Along the way, we’ll pass through Kelaa M’Gouna, famous for its fragrant rose products, and the lush Skoura Oasis, home to thousands of palm trees, traditional kasbahs, and Berber villages.

Next, we visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Ben Haddou, Morocco’s most famous kasbah and the filming location for movies such as Gladiator and The Mummy. After exploring the village, we continue across the scenic Tizi n’Tichka Pass in the High Atlas Mountains, stopping for lunch and enjoying the stunning views before arriving in Marrakech in the late afternoon, where your tour comes to an end.
