About this activity
The adventure starts in the afternoon with a short camel ride (or 4x4 transfer) to a family-friendly camp in Erg Chebbi. Before sunset there’s time for sandboarding on gentle slopes and building sandcastles, then everyone climbs a dune together to watch the sun go down.
In the evening, enjoy dinner at camp, music around the fire where available, and a short stargazing session. The next morning can include sunrise, a bread-making session and a visit to Khamlia or a palm grove before you continue your journey.
We adapt the pace to your children’s ages — shorter camel rides, flexible timings and family tents or connecting tents where available (to be confirmed). Minimum ages for some activities are set by the operator and confirmed at booking.
