Short (≤ 2 h)Romantic Desert Dinner under the Stars
A private table among the dunes, lit by lanterns, with a Moroccan dinner and the desert sky overhead.

Sometimes the best plan is simply to sit in the dunes with good food and nobody else around. We set up a private picnic in a sheltered spot among the sand or under the palms, timed for comfortable temperatures.
We travel by 4x4, camel or on foot (depending on location and your preference) to a quiet spot chosen for shade, views and shelter from the wind. There, rugs, low tables and cushions are laid out with a spread of Moroccan salads, bread, olives, seasonal fruit, dates, pastries and mint tea. A warm dish such as a tagine or medfouna can be added on request.
Timing matters in the desert: in warmer months we suggest a morning picnic or one in late afternoon running into sunset, avoiding the midday heat. In winter, a sunny midday picnic can be perfect. Alcohol is not assumed; please ask in advance if you have particular requests and we’ll advise what is possible.
We take everything back with us and leave the site exactly as we found it. Decorations such as lanterns or flowers can be arranged on request, subject to availability.
Timings shift with the season (sunrise and sunset change by more than two hours across the year).
We confirm these details in your written quote:
Avoid the midday heat from late spring to early autumn. Bring sun protection and drink plenty of water. If arriving by camel or 4x4, tell us about back problems or pregnancy.
